The Hong Kong Society of Haematology was established in 1972, with the mission of enhancing the training, knowledge exchange and research of local health care professionals working in the field of haematology, thus improving the quality of care for haematological patients in Hong Kong. The Society aims at providing support to its members through organizing seminars and lectures, sponsorships for overseas meetings and training sessions, and liaison with overseas institutions and professional bodies. The Society also strives to promote public awareness and interest in haematology through various educational activities.
